The Menopause Midlife Transition-Learning to Listen to Your Intuition
The menopause is primarily a biological and physiological process that women go through as they reach a certain age. It marks the end of reproductive capacity and is associated with hormonal changes that can have various physical and emotional effects. The menopause stage can certainly bring about significant changes in a woman's life often prompting self-reflection and personal growth which may lead to spiritual awakening.
Many women experience the menopause as a time of introspection, self-discovery, and transformation, which can have spiritual dimensions. It is not uncommon for individuals to seek deeper meaning and understanding during major life transitions such as the menopause. They may contemplate their purpose, explore new interests, or reassess their priorities, which can have spiritual or existential implications.
I personally see this period in a woman’s life as a rite of passage and view it as a time of wisdom and empowerment if we choose to listen to our minds and bodies and then answer the call.
